My college age son had 4 bouts of strep/tonsillitis within 4 weeks and then developed a very large and complicated peritonsillar abscess. Dr. Abramowitz identified he issue and treated the problem immediately. His bedside manner is superb--down to earth, confident and reassuring. Highly recommend Dr. Abramowitz.

Dr. Abramowitz is not only a great diagnostician but a kind, caring and reassuring dr. I went to Dr.Abramowitz with hearing loss and he expolored all kinds of possibilities. Had me see the audiologist which concluded the hearing loss . Sent me for an MRI of the brain to rule out a tumor. He then administered a treatment in the ear via a syringe which brought my hearing back. He explained everything as he did the procedure - this will hurt for 15 seconds, you will feel a sudden rush of liquid, etc. He has a wonderful bedside manner and and very kind. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Did not rush me in the office and took the time to answer any and all questions that I had. Thank you again for your time and patience.

DrAbramowitz is a great ENT. He’s very attentive, explains very well what’s going on and how to care for it and helps ease concerns and fears for people like myself who tend to worry. He’s a genuine person who shows care and that’s what’s most important to me. And of course, very knowledgeable and helped me get through my issues.

This is a practice that will reassure paranoid patients like my husband.  He was terrified of visiting a medical office because of the virus even though he had the feeling of a piece of something stuck in his throat for over three months.  The Grand Central office had doctors that accepted his insurance and was nearby,  so when the fear of cancer overcame the fear of getting the coronavirus, he finally went.  He wanted to talk about his visit but has no Google account, so I'm putting his comments here. The door to the building opens automatically and you can take the stairs up to the second floor office.  No elevator exposure. There is a patient portal, so all of your information can be in the computer. His ENT doctor, Jason Abramowitz, wore full PPE -- gown, gloves, mask, a formidable shield that covered his entire face and neck -- and socially distanced the entire time, except for when he used the scope.  My husband liked the idea that the doctor asked his permission to insert it to look down his throat.  Very calming and respectful. Dr. Abramowitz was patient, thorough, and explained things clearly and simply.  The problem was reflux that had severely inflamed my husband's voice box.  Not great, but not the worst diagnosis.  It's been about two weeks since the visit and after beginning diet and lifestyle changes, the stuck lump feeling is almost gone.  Best of all, no more anxiety.  I'm glad he found this office and this doctor. I hope this helps other extremely fearful patients.

I had seen a few ENT doctors for problems related to sinus pain and Dr Abramowitz diagnosed and treated it immediately when the others could not. It's no longer a problem. He is outstanding and I am very grateful.
