My name is Yitzchok Shuster. I believe that Dr. Winoker, and his amazing staff, may be one of the best things to happen to me. He is a rarity in these days of medicine. He is caring, compassionate, empathetic. He has spent and hour with me on the phone, listening to my concerns, on a weekend. His staff is exceptional. Shannon, his nurse practitioner, Jackie, another nurse. The girls at the front desk. Jennifer, his medical assistant. If you require a urologist, RUN and make an appointment with Dr. Winoker. I wish I could clone him!

Dr Winoker is a Top Notch/ Top Tier surgeon / doctor who cares deeply for his patients and personally follows up after surgeries. He shows his caring, understanding, empathy as well as his mastery in surgery/ medicine, follow up and explanation of kidney stones and treatments to the point I have complete trust and faith in him, his team and the Lenox Hill Hospital urology dept. I have suffered with kidney stones for over 20 years and had a major surgery 13 years ago. I have gone through countless doctors and Dr Winoker is the one for me. I have done research over time and gone through different doctors but doctor Winoker has pinpointed exactly my issue after emergency intervention and followed up with tests / calls / follow ups and he treats his patients with dignity, respect as well as a human being (he takes time to explain your problem and and gerts to know you) which can be rare in the world we live in. Most surgeons come in do their work and have a nurse or a PA take care of the rest and they just care or talk to you when they see you. I was shocked and pleased when an emergency surgeon personally called me a day or after my surgery to personally check on me - this was in addition the the nurses calling me to check up. So long story short I have been through countless good doctors over many years but finally reached the right one. If you suffer from kidney stones I would strongly suggest Dr Jared Winoker from the Lenox Hill Hospital Urology Dept. (PS - Yes I did research on D Winoker online and his positions/education/credentials are exemplary - I make my informed decisions and came to my own conclusion that Dr Winoker is one of a kind - I am glad we have caring, Top tier doctors like him on our side to help us patients)
