Dr. Janie Barnett

Dr. Barnett is very friendly and kind. I was nervous about doing the hearing test because it seemed scary but she took the time to explain the process and really make you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Dr. Barnett listened carefully to me and took her time answering my questions. She is easy to relate to and very friendly. She explained the details of the hearing aid (my first) and gave me extras of batteries and components so I have everything I need for the first month or longer. She is extremely competent in her field and I would highly recommend her.

Dr Barnett is experienced and knowledgeable, in addition she is patient. Dr B was supportive so many years ago when I first learned, I needed hearing aids. Not only did she take care of the technical parts she was emotionally supportive in Making sure I was comfortable wearing and I could transition to a full life with the aids. She is the best.

Dr. Janie Barnett is an impressive audiologist who listens and clearly outlines options so that you feel in control of the process. She can dispense more than one brand, but for the very severely impaired like my 96 year old husband, today she thoroughly tested his hearing and cleaned his hearing aids and replaced tubing all in a little over an hour. She maintains good contact with his ENT physician and the mutual respect is reassuring..

I am in my late 50’s and went in because of tinnitus. I found this Dr to have horrible bedside manner. That, and the hearing test actually hurt as some sounds were very loud. She had little compassion even after realizing I was surprised at her diagnosis. While showing me a diagram of where the damage was, I asked for a copy. She hesitated. I explained I wanted so I could study more thoroughly. She finally agreed but stated she would only provide a black and white copy as a color copy would rather up all her ink. Seriously? It was 1 page! I won’t be going back and will go elsewhere for another opinion.
