I had the pleasure of being treated at Dr Yoo establishment over 2 years ago and really wanted to share my experience. When looking for a specialist, I wanted to have face to face time, acknowledgement of my concerns and impartial feedback. I had some preconceived notions of this visit that was quickly dispelled as soon as I walked in. The time she took to talk about my concerns but also its impact on my life was refreshing. As a person that has struggled with skin problems most of my life, I was excited to start a new direction. Putting me at ease was the first step that really elevated some of my tension. Dr Yoo gave me a comprehensive plan and offered me other options outside her clinic- this was a game changer for me. The personalize approach- which included my feedback, addressed my concerns. I really do appreciate the realistic view that she provided. I cannot stress this enough- realistic expectations! I genuinely appreciated the 1:1 time, calls and follow ups! During the past 2 years, I also dab my toes into additional treatment such as micro- needling and scar treatment. Leaving my skin glowing and so healthy looking! Unequivocally – recommended!

Dr. Yoo is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. Beyond being incredibly knowledgeable, she’s kind and generous, and she runs a great practice (I never have to wait for my appointment to start!). I came here because I’d had some cystic acne related to hormones in my late 20s, and I didn’t know what to do. I was clear within two months and have felt well taken care of ever since. Moreover, Dr Yoo answers all my questions and takes each cosmetic or health concern seriously. I refer all my friends to her!

I worked for Dr. Yoo as a premed medical assistant during my gap year before matriculating into medical school. She is an amazing mentor and physician who not only gave me invaluable firsthand clinical experience that I otherwise will not get until later years of medical school, but she also showed me what it takes to be a caring, responsive doctor. She pays volunteers once they have demonstrated competency and commitment. That is not too much to ask at all, as the time needed to train volunteers (which I have helped with in the past) is immense, and the risks that she takes on by allowing them to interact with patients can have burdensome repercussions that she has had to deal with in the past. I highly recommend either working with Dr. Yoo as a premed student, or seeing her as a patient. She goes above and beyond to make sure that you leave with a good experience.

I've looked around and met so many dermatologists, but none could find the right solution for my psoriasis. They offered numerous steroid treatments that didn't work, leaving me feeling miserable and frustrated for a few years. However, finding Dr. Yoo was a game-changer! Her personalized care and expertise have brought about remarkable improvement in my condition, and I'm 100% cured from psoriasis. I finally feel hopeful and relieved. If you've been suffering like I was, I highly recommend Dr. Yoo - a true savior in my psoriasis journey! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Premedical student at Columbia here! They recently posted a job listing via Columbia’s premedical office. The job responsibilities resemble those of a medical assistant, which is roughly $20/hour in NYC, yet this practice titled the position as “Clinical Volunteer” such that the position is unpaid. I’m sure Dr. Yoo is a knowledgeable physician. But this is truly upsetting, given the fact that her practice is in the affluent Midtown West and etc. While students do learn from an opportunity like this, they also learn from a paid position. If you want help from an Ivy League student, I mean… the rest is self-explanatory to say the least.
