Dr. Jack Geffken

I have been going to Bethpage Primary since they 1st began their practice in Hicksville...over 35 years ago !!! I would never ever change them for the world. From the front desk receptionist s, the telephone operators, the assistants and the doctors themselves always make me feel so welcomed & accomadating. Dr. Jack Geffken is a doctor who you would want by your side, the same goes with his assistant Danielle. I cannot stress how important it is to have them in your corner when you are sick, or, with a simple telephone call to get the relief & answers you need. On a personal note this office has saved my life TWICE, once with Dr. Anthony Arcati and another with Dr. Jack Geffken. Very easy to talk to. listens to what you have to say. Knowledgeable without being overbearing. Nice guy, Good doctor.

Have Dr. Geffken as my GP for almost 20 years hope he never retires. Great person, always interested in what you have to say and responds accordingly. Profoundly patient and sympathetic human being.

I would just like to comment on a very rude receptionist. Her name is Tatiana. Being a provider myself, I would hate to have someone like this working for me with the way she carried herself on the phone. I would definitely recommend addressing how she further addresses patients concerns. Jen was extremely pleasant and accommodating which I am very grateful for as I had a life impacting question. Also the lab was absolutely WONDERFUL! Called me back with results so quick...linda was so sweet.

Getting up appointment wasn't that bad the wait time was not bad neither. When I saw the doctor he prescribed a prescription when I got to the pharmacy The prescription was not covered by my insurance the pharmacy made a phone call to the doctors office to see if he can prescribe something that would be covered under my insurance plan and they never returned the phone call back... Needless to say two weeks later still no prescription. Nor a phone call... Thanks for all the good work doc..
