Dr. Petrosova is a warm caring and empathetic individual who truly cares about her patients total wellbeing. She always makes a call to check in on her cases that may need extra support or advanced care. Her technical diagnostic skills are superb and she always knows the next step is in a patients case and WHO to refer to as a specialist. This is a sign of a humble real Physician. Her staff are so kind and compassionate and always greet everyone kindly and with respect and total consideration. It's hard to find such a diamond of a Doctor in today's managed care madness. I am a Doctor and never say things lightly if you need a Physician who really cares about total health go see this Dr. I put my word on it

I'm giving three stars not because of care but lack of respect for your time. I see from other reviews the feeling is mutual. You'll get there at 9 AM and will be seen at 3 PM means you're sitting in the waiting room for 6hrs, and what hurts is it's ALL THE TIME. The sad truth is most of the patients are elderly West Indians and they have the mentality Drs are Gods and so they sit there for 6 hrs and never complain. I wonder if the receptionist and other staff members who subject these patients to such brutal and inconsiderate behaviors if they themselves wait that long when they see their Drs...don't even think of calling to speak to the receptionist and enquire about your parents who've been there all day... they put you on hold to ignore you. It's unconscionable!!!

This doctor's office is horrible you make an appointment and wait hours to be seen. I got here an 11:18 and I'm still waiting to be seen at 5:29. They put me in a back room and I'm just sitting here. A woman that came in way after me was seen and left before me because she is friendly with the doctor. I don't think that's fair and its not the only time I notice she has done this. I just need my results for some tests I had done and I am NEVER coming back again. I word of advice....go elsewhere for your medical needs.

I went to see this doctor as a new patient. I scheduled an app at 2:30 and got their earlier to fill out paper work, at 5:30 I was still waiting for the doctor. When I went to complain about the wait time the workers there gave me an attitude. This doctor has no respect for her patients or their time. I would not recommend wasting time to go see her.

My mom was seeing Dr. Petrosova for close to 20 years, going out of her way to travel to South Brooklyn. Several years ago, she started complaining about severe hip pain and limping. Dr. Petrosova, without scheduling any imaging, assumed my mom has sciatica and she suggested she takes hot showers and exercises more. My mom blamed herself for not exercising more when she was younger, until she could no longer walk, eat, or think. I discovered her at death’s door, and after imaging was done at Presbyterian, it turned out that what Dr. Petrosova misdiagnosed as sciatica was actually lung cancer. My mom almost died of brain metastasis. Had Dr. Petrosova scheduled a simple x-ray of the hip, my mom would have been diagnosed before developing a brain tumour. After my mom contacted Dr. Petrosova to tell her what happened, she did not get so much as an apology from her. So - do yourself a favor and go to a real doctor who cares, not to this hack.
