Dr. Chen is by far one of the best Orthopedic surgeons I have ever met. My aunt had two knee replacements with him. Dr. Chen goes above and beyond for each patient. It’s all about caring for his patients making sure they receive the best care possible. From Patricia his Administrative assistant and Maureen is physician assistant I couldn’t have asked for a better team to care for my aunt. The compassion and care they give each patient is very heartfelt. Thank you Dr. Chen for giving my aunt her life back.

My experience with my knee and hip surgery have been great. I still have a little pain but it's not like before. Dr Chen is a wonderful doctor, great personality, and he doesn't push you in to anything you don't want to do , it is your choice. I would recommend him highly to do your surgery.

Dr. Chen is terrific. I had my hip joint replaced over the summer using the anterior method, which allows for a faster recovery. It was a success and 7 months later, now that I am fully healed, I feel like I turned back the clock 10 years! Dr Chen and his staff were very attentive before my surgery, during my hospital stay and continue to be throughout my ongoing follow-up care.

I recently had a hip replacement. Doctor Darwin Chen performed the operation at Mount Sinai Hospital. On the day of the operation I was apprehensive, filled with fear not knowing how things would go. Before the operation Dr Chen visited my bedside to check on me. He was so calm! and very focused on his work ahead. I was a wreck but I calmed down after seeing him and feeling the positive energy that was coming from this man. My pain even before the operation, on a scale of 1-10 was—10. It was that bad. Well, not anymore! The pain is gone. I can walk normally again. Dr Darwin Chen put me back together and brought back a quality of life I thought I would never have again. This man genuinely cares for his patients and it shows in his professional attitude. He is an amazing caring surgeon and I highly recommend Dr Chen! Thank you Doctor!
