Dr. Lustbader is special. He was recommended to me by another wonderful doctor who told me he sends his own family to see him. He is nice, caring, super-smart, reassuring and funny. He asks lots of questions and is hyper-alert to any problem or change. He is very responsive to follow-up questions sent to him through the on-line health application. He is a great resource for other types of doctors if you need a recommendation. Dr. Lustbader is both a Primary Care Physician and a gastroenterologist and is extremely knowledgeable. His office is nice and his staff is very helpful.

Dr. Lustbader is a caring & attentive physician who listens to his patients and is always informative & helpful. A comfort & pleasure to have as a primary physician. Occasionally you may wait a few minutes to be seen, but as someone who once needed to see Dr. Lustbader immediately - and he kindly worked me into his schedule - I see the occasional wait, as Dr. Lustbader following the golden rule. 5 star physician

The nicest most thorough doctor I have seen in ages. His office is great. He is truly understanding and nice. The wait sometimes might be a bit long but well worth the wait. I fell my well being is better in his care.

Approximately 25 years ago, my wife contracted salmonella from an undercooked meatball. Another physician initially saw her, gave her some light-dose antibiotics and sent her home. The infection progressed until she was hallucinating, vomiting and (heavily) passing blood in her stool. Dr. Lustbader was the attending ER physician at NYU the day we got her into the emergency ward, and saved her life. It was touch-and-go, with Dr. Lustbader sometimes fading from optimism, but he pulled her through and Marilyn lives on today. Thank you Dr. Lustbader. I am so glad to see you are still in the service of others.

Terrible front office staff; Per them, it takes 2 weeks to write a referral and very rude staff. The answering service staff is better though.
