Dr. Hermann Escobar

Dr. Hermann Escobar is a wonderful doctor. He explains everything to his patients. He has a sense of humor, fantastic bedside manner & down to earth. Most importantly he is an excellent doctor. He has been a doctor for 25 years, but has the attitude of a beginner. Being a fantastic doctor never went to his head. I have been going to him for 5 years, and I would follow him wherever he goes, should he go anywhere. I would recommend Dr. Escobar to anyone who needs a doctor who is very intelligent, & who figures out what your problem is. If he can't figure it out, he will send you for tests because he takes no chances. Tests do not lie. So one way or another Dr. Escobar will come up with the answer to your problem. If you are looking for a great, intelligent doctor, look no further. Dr. Hermann Escobar is the doctor you are looking for. Take my word for it.

Edited with new notes at the end: I was seeing very quickly as first time patient and doctor spent a long time viewing my case. I’ve had to switch few doctors lately because they didn’t seem good enough to handle my complex case. Even though I’ve seen him once, he seemed to pay lots more attention and I truly hope that he will continue working with me. At this point not only I need a good doctor but also an understandable caring one. Dr. Escobar seems to be that. On another note, wonderful staff all around. 2nd Review: I continue seeing Dr. Escobar and he’s been absolutely excellent in caring for me. Considering of bringing all family members. He is absolutely patient in listening to all my concerns and make sure to address them to his best abilities. He’s referred me to other professionals as well when necessary and always been able to explain why. Communication works well via mychart app. Adding to my review: 2 years later and Dr. Escobar is my Angel. My case is very difficulty but he helps me so much that he literally makes my life easier that what would have been without him. He recognizes my situation is severe and I don’t get gaslighted and that is a gold doctor. He is such a great human being!

Haven't been to this location but I've worked with him years ago. I was looking to make him my primary because he is an amazing physician (and takes my insurance) but the office hours don't fit my schedule. I'm writing this review to address wait time concerns; you wait so long for two reasons: 1. He probably is overbooked, most NYC physicians are, especially when they're great and their patients love them and refuse to see anyone else. Doctors cannot really control their schedule. That's anywhere. 2. He, unlike others, actually takes the time to listen to his patient's concerns. So you won't wait an hour to only get 2 minutes of his time. I can say that he genuinely cares about his patients as a whole. If you can see him, do it. Just don't make any other plans for the next couple of hours. 😊

Dr. Escobar is the best doctor I have ever seen. Since we move far away I can't see him anymore. Unfortunately I can't never find a Dr. like him. I highly recommend him.He is a very caring doctor. He is a excellent diagnostician.

A good doctor is the one who is in charge of the health of their patients, for that they are supposed to be the primary doctor, but they are more concerned about having many patients, they are always overbooked. My mother had to return for a physical exam and they give you 8 months later appointment. I mean, in those months the patient can have many things and they are not interested. the same with appointments for anything else you need to see the doctor. they don't bother after they send you to do an exam to call you, if you don't call forget it, look like they had no coordination between the doctor and the people that work there
