Dr. Henry Yan

I read many of these reviews about Dr. Yan before seeing him. My wife is already a patient of his and I decided to give him a try because my previous primary doctor a bit too commercial and sees patients as if she were working on an assembly line....Next pls. Next pls. Upon doing a physical with him, I found the Dr. to be knowledge, courteous, and meticulous. I received a follow-up telephone call directly from Dr. Yan about 4-5 days after the physical to explain the results from the blood work and others. Dr. Yan patiently explained each line result to me on whether it was favorable or some changes need to be applied. I very pleased with this patient/doctor follow-up which, at 50+ years of age, I have experienced very few doctors committed to this type of service. Yes, I totally agree that the decor and ambience of the office could be a bit modern....and, perhaps, the staff could smile a bit more and be little more accommodating. However, if you want modern, then go to Manhasset, Long Island and find a primary. I bet in L.I. you still have a long long wait and robot like reception staff. Dr. Yang's office is in Flushing, NY and I live close by also in Flushing. This is so convenient for me and I waited only 10-15 minutes on my appointment day and this was filling the Day 1 paperwork. What I found most appealing is that on certain days he opens at 8:00 AM in the morning and certain days on the weekends......you can't beat that. Give him a try

Dr. Yen is the most patient doctor I've ever seen, and I never waiting over 15mins. Can't believe how that one star rankings happens here.

There should be an option for ZERO STARS. THIS WAS THE WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SHAM OF A DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN. RECEPTION IS CLUELESS AND WILL MAKE YOU WAIT FOR HOURS FOR NOTHING. DO NOT GO HERE. HOW DOES THIS OFFICE PRACTICE LEGALLY UNDER U.S. LAW?!
