Dr. Grant Macaulay

I first met Dr. Macaulay over 15 yrs, as a Canadian living and working in Manhattan. He was my 'go to' doctor for everything from a vicious spider bite to shingles, to fever and chest colds. I found him to be courteous, kind, informative and professional. He made me feel comfortable and has such a warm and pleasant personality. I highly recommend him.

I was delighted to receive the compassionate care of Dr. Macaulay. Very thorough, knowledgeable and supportive with a wonderful bedside manner. I needed a primary care physician in a hurry and was thrilled with the prompt care I received.

My wife has visited Dr. Macaulay 3 times and we have come away happy every time. Our waits have never been more than five minutes after our appointed time. As another comment said, he is not the warm and fuzzy type but, seems very competent.

Absolutely horrible experience, doctor rude and xenophobic! He had a total terrible demeanor towards us because we are not fluent in English (being precocious on our search by looking for a doctor that advertised that speaks Spanish). As soon as we got into his office, he greeted us with: “I only have 10 minutes!” We tried our very best to communicate with him, but he was absolutely not having it! We even called our son to help us translate but he refused to talk or cooperate in any way. Total lack of professionalism, humility and a will to help us, DO NOT GO TO THIS HORRENDOUS PLACE!

I had a horrible experience with this doctor! He had the worst beside manner I have ever seen and was extremely disrespectful. He is cold, awkward and uncaring. He made snark remarks about why I was coming to the doctor and tried to convince me to go on a keto or paleo diet. He was zero help to me and simply told me to go see a specialist. I was extremely disappointed with this doctor and decided to see another doctor who could tell me what was wrong with me after just a ten minute conversation. Stay away!
