I’ve had several treatments at SkinLab NYC (all of which I’ve loved), but today I had a Botox appointment with an injector who was new to me - Asha. She reviewed my history of previous treatments and then gave me her assessment which felt both thorough and personalized. She talked me through everything she was doing and what to expect. I have been using Dysport for 10+ years and know exactly how much I want. I asked - in writing before my visit and at my appointment - for a very specific quantity to be injected. Instead of honoring my wish, the nurse practitioner injected 1.5x what I asked for - and of course charged the extra $150, which I cannot afford. When I saw the bill and the quantity, I called back and she said "I know best" and "maybe your other place diluted the serum." Really? Because that would have meant you should have given me *less* of your more powerful serum. In sum, I got too much Dysport and paid more than I could afford. I recommend clients make sure the nurse practitioner takes their requests seriously in future.
