Dr. Liu is a knowledgeable and experience endocrinologist who will spend the time to get to know you and help diagnosed your condition properly. The girls in the front desk was nice and friendly. I have an appointment with him and like some other reviewers, I still had to wait for an hour. However, he also spent an hour discussing my condition and chatting with me to get to know my habits. Some of the topics he talks about may seem off to others, but I think he is trying to grasp your day to day habits and how you eat to see how you are. This way, he can properly diagnosed you better and understand what your stress levels are. He does have a dry sense of humor that I think some reviewers misinterpreted as bad bedside manner. Seriously , when was the last time you went to see a doctor that will spend more than 15 minutes with you? If you want a quick visit, he is not for you. If you are looking for a doctor that cares and give you the time and the day with alot of experience, I recommend you give him a try.

Very very happy with Doctor's knowlegde and patient care. Wait time is a little longer but its all worth it!!. When he sees a patient he very calmly listens to all the issue, help and suggest what is best for you. I beleive he is the only doctor who would see you and give you more than an hour of his time even if a lot of patients are in line and its getting late. Once he even saw me at 11pm. He has more than 40 years of experience. I m honored to have such a doctor to help me!! Would definitely recommend to everyone!!!

I'm someone who is pretty critical of my healthcare experience and any vendor I review. I'm a journalist for a newspaper, so I won't endorse unless I think it's warranted. Also, I believe it's hard finding an endo without weeks, months of waiting these days, so I'm writing this to help someone, hopefully. I wanted to see an endo soon, and Dr. Liu got me in right away cuz he works all the time -- days, nights, weekends. His front desk was very helpful and generous before, during and after my visit. He does spend A LOT of time with patients and gives lots of detail, but when you need a specialist, you usually don't mind that. He went through all my reports ... well past his closing time. We were both yawning. I went at the end of the day, so maybe that's why I didn't have a wait like others had. He called me personally with the results, 2x. Not his front desk. He also assessed what past doctors have told me over the years, in a pretty unsolved issue, and he's very experienced and teaches, etc. so I appreciated the insight. Some of the comments, experiences listed in the comments here may be true and warranted, but I'd say try him if you need an endo. I'm happy with my experience.

I brought my aunt for a biopsy to his canal street location and it was the worst experience. If you are not Asian they would not care about. We waited for almost 2 hrs and everyone is getting called that is Asian and not us. Her answer is we are next. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. We had to leave because we live in queens and had to take public transportation. The girls in front didn’t even care.

Terrible doctor, every time my wife see him he seems to fall asleep, because of his negligence, the wrong dose of medicine, My wife was admitted to the hospital and almost died.
