I was so lucky and blessed to had my surgery performed by Dr. Ackerman. From the beginning I was so confident with him he is the best. I had a lot of questions and concerns about my knee and he answered and take care of everything.He always answered my emails and phone calls. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ackerman is a great doctor and also a very nice person. He will listen to you. I broke my shoulder, years ago, in 3 places. One surgeon wanted to do surgery and if things didn't look good indicated a shoulder replacement. Doctor number two wanted to do surgery and when I asked if I could do without it, he was hesitate but said yes. Dr. Ackerman studied the xrays and told me I didn't need surgery. This is the difference between an honest doctor looking to help out a patient, compared to those who wanted to make money on surgery. Prohealth is lucky to have Dr. Ackerman on board.

I have been going to Dr Ackerman for treatment of my shoulder.He is always thorough and helps me to understand everything going on with my injury. As someone who has anxiety going to doctors, I feel very comfortable and welcomed there. I highly recommend him!

My son was having sports related knee pain. We saw the doctor promptly. He examined my son carefully, explained the condition thoroughly, answered our questions patiently, and gave us options for physical therapy. I would highly recommend.
