Dr. Eric Littman

During some very stressful times in my life, I am so glad I found Dr Littman. Dr Littman is great! I saw him twice and both adjustments were wonderful and helpful, they were not too gentle but not too rough either. He definitely knows what he is doing. Dr Littman is very thorough and takes his time with his patients. Dr Littman also has a great personality, he is knowledgeable, thorough, caring, yet humble. His office is very conveniently located on East 16th between 5th and 6th avenues and scheduling an appointment with him was a breeze.

I came to see Dr. Littman after having consistent back pain for nearly a month. After a few adjustment sessions and some targeted exercises, I feel 100% better. Would recommend him to anyone experiencing similar issues.

Dr. Littman and so great! Kind and understanding, but also willing to let you exactly what you’re doing wrong. Office is also in a great location!

He was throughly professional. I felt better within days not weeks.

I asked numerous times for the cost of his appointments and was told that only Dr. Littman could provide this. So I took time out of my day to visit him in his office where I inquired again before proceeding. This is not the office’s fault as they are given information only as far as Dr. Littman provides. As soon as I sat down with him I asked him what my services would look like. Because they were likely >$100, I told him that I would not be able to afford this price and needed to leave. He immediately told me he was annoyed and acted angrily when I asked for my personal information and medical records back - since I was asked to fill this out prior to our appointment. Mind you - these are my personal records. He then proceeded to tell me he was the cheapest around, and said, “This is really annoying for me”. With no accountability of how I had also taken time out of my day. Then tried to tell me he was: “not trying to be rude”, contrary to his actions and mannerism directed at me. As a party to this appointment, it is my right to leave, and to obtain my records. His actions and reaction were obtuse and unprofessional. I would recommend asking for full transparency prior to your visit with him. His behavior was unacceptable. — Update to Dr Littman’s response. He did not “try to be polite”. He firmly informed me that he was “the cheapest around”. And, he is incorrect. It is NOT that I didn’t understand my insurance plan, it is that the office/Dr Littman offered no transparency or potential estimate. Affordability to care is important and a part of Dr/Patient/Potential Patient care. If I did not understand the costs - and went through with the visit, only to be slapped with a charge I could not pay…how does that look to the practice’s ethics? Do not mistake my asking about an office visit cost with “people not understanding how insurance works”.
