I have been overwhelmingly impressed with the level of customer service at Dr. Callahan's office. I made several calls to different podiatrist offices prior to finding this office. None, I repeat, NONE had service like this. The representative was kind, and welcoming. I could tell, even through the phone that she had a smile on her face. To me, this made all the difference. They accommodated me with an appointment the same day. Dr. Callahan was friendly and thorough. She gave me options as it pertained to my issue. I have since had one more visit via teleconference, and that too was pleasant and easy. I can't stress how happy I am to have found this office. I will continue to seek care there, and recommend to family and friends.

Dr. Callahan is the best podiatrist. She is gentle and pleasant. Making your visit a very comfortable and pleasant one. Also never a long wait time. So if ever in need of a great podiatrist check out Tender Foot Care with Dr. Elvira Callahan.

Dr. Callahan is awesome! Very down to earth and super accommodating. She’s the best podiatrist in Forest Hills without a doubt in my mind. They offer a ton of great services, as well as weekend hours (Saturday mornings). She really cares about her patients and their well being. Glad I was able to connect with such a professional, honest podiatrist near me!

I am mortified, honestly the worse medical care experience I’ve ever had, they wanted to charge me 274.99 for an ankle brace that can be found on amazon for 24$ Not to mention the Walgreens down the street had similar products for 16$ And then the reception staff wanted to argue with me There was no effort for decent customer service Or even common decency, constantly blaming me for not understanding, or mishearing (I miss heard the price and thought it was 27.49) Don’t go here, don’t let your relatives grandmothers aunts go here they will take advantage of them (Thankfully I flagged it with my insurance and credit card servicer )

If I could give a zero star I would. I went for my first appointment in January from a Groupon for a laser treatment to both feet. I will say that visit went well. They only treated 3 toes out of the 10 which I paid for 10. Dr. Daid it would take about 9 months to a year to grow out correctly. Fast forward 3 1/2 months and my toes were hurting to the point I had to cut them off to realize nothing changed. I called and they told me to come in. When I came in, the receptionist asked how am I going to take care of this appointment. I was taken back and she said it would be out of pocket or have to go through insurance for a consult. I didn't understand because I was never service completely before and 2 I had an issue with another toe which they said was fine. So now they are asking me to pay even more when the first service was not completed? Very confused. I asked her to speak with her doctor if she could. She cane back out very briefly and sat down and the other girl at the front desk said he has to pay. So she called me back up to tell me that I need to pay or go through insurance. Where is the customer service? Where is courtesy? I understand that if its a deeper issue then yes I would go through my insurance but fir me to be asked up front to put out more money or use my insurance which requires a copay(more money) is unacceptable. No consideration for the customer when what I had paid to them already was worth 4/5 copays. I am livid knowing that I just wasted money with them. I could have just set it on fire. On top of that I came from long Island for nothing. Just a waste all around. I would have prefered if the doctor offered to look at my feet and tell that there is a different issue amd laser wont help it. I would not recommend!!! ****Update**** To respond to your response, there was no misunderstanding. You were very CLEAR in asking for more money but let me be clear as you also offer Groupons per toe but I chose the option for both feet to make sure each toe gets done not just from what you see. Thats what was paid for. For me now to have an issue with another toe and you to not even look at it after I technically paid the first time and was not serviced is apalling. I was waiting patiently for the time to go by but did not see ANY difference. Then I get to the point where my toe is hurting. Customer Sevice would have been to at least check my foot. If this was something the laser would have not handled or something else needed to be done then we could have talked about insurance but it seems that you dont know about that. Customer service is more tham being nice and answering questions. Its a service that you provide. I wish you the best but KARMA is not always nice. I
