I am a patient and I feel that I am in the best of hands, she's easy to talk to and never makes you feel like you are asking a stupid question, she is very through in what she does. I recommend her.

I visited this clinic only once but felt very uncomfortable by the staff attitude. One of the medical assistants loudly and openly complained about hating her job and seemed frustrated as she helped me. When I shared that I have a fear of blood before she took my blood sample, she pretty rudely told me to get it together or I was going to make her mess up. I wish I'd gotten this person's name. Dr Vezza was pretty quick and to the point. Seeing her was the shortest part of my appointment and while I didn't have a bad impression at all, I think her practice could benefit from better staffing.

First and foremost, please note that I rarely write reviews and do not tend to be negative; I post this to alert Dr. Vezza and hopefully make changes in the current office supervision; and warn potential patients with possible life threatening ailments. I was very pleased for two years but since the change in office staff and COVID-19 I am changing doctors. I have a serious 4.3 cm ascending aortic aneurysm; major surgery may be required if it grows to 5 cm. I made my usual 6 month appointment and wasn't told a substitute doctor was seeing me. In my opinion, the doctor was condescending and then after 15-20 minutes with me, basically reading my digital file, billed for a 30 minute preventive consultation. Medicare won't pay and I will file complaints with AMA if I get a bill. My aneurysm requires medical imaging requiring blood work ups. There was no follow-up by the office staff and upon MY follow-up I was told the lab stated the blood was not testable. I had to re-do everything; I understand if the lab has an issue but I don't accept the lack of follow-up by the office staff. After two calls with other issues trying to reach Dr. Vezza, a receptionist called me. It seems Dr. Vezza is distancing herself from the patients. Additionally, despite my concerns that my secondary wants an authorization code, I only received a claim number. There are even more issues but now I am receiving phone calls to make an appointment because I am overdue, early December 2020, for a checkup. Meanwhile, I received a call, not from any doctor, but from a receptionist in late August that my results were okay and do my usual follow-up..that would be late February 2021. This is sad and alarming at the same time.

I have also had extremely bad experiences with Dr. Elena Vezza. Actually, my complaint letter was too long to fit in the allotted space. My suggestion to any one who wants to make a formal complaint against Dr. Vezza you should write to: Office of Professional Medical Conduct Central Intake Unit 150 Broadway Suite #355 Albany, New York 12204-2719 My letter was addressed immediately, and my complaint is still under investigation. Please consider that. Good Luck

Dr. Vezza was rude and has no people skills. She was actually nasty to me because the medicine she gave me made me sick and she lost her patience. I never went back and would not recommend her to anyone. A friend of mine also left for the same reason.
