Sadly, I found it very difficult to work with his office staff. I waited 3-mos. for an appointment, and 5 days before my surgery, his assistant cancelled my surgery. I needed a final surgery checkup 4-5 days before my surgery and his assistant cancelled my surgery the day before I had my surgery checkup appointment which was in time for the procedure. This appointment was given to me by his office. I thought I had met all the criteria for the surgery, waited 3 mos. and she cancelled me a separate appointment. Why wasn't the office in control of all the preparation that was needed, instead of the patient. The doctors assistant was more concerned that "she" was the Executive Assistant. If she was in charge of the preparation of the patient for surgery, why wasn't she on top of the expectations? Since when is the patient in charge of ensuring all criteria for surgery are met. This is extremely upsetting and makes me question if everything else would run the same way. This is inappropriate behavior of a "caring medical practice". I judge the physician by his/her attitude, and the attitude and treatment from his staff. If the staff rushes me through, will the physician also treat me poorly? Lastly, since when is the patient in charge of the preparations without the office following up. I am 78 years old and I have no idea of the preparation schedule, only receiving a numerous pages of instructions and no interaction with the office. Can't get anyone to receive my calls, return phone calls, only spew orders after the fact... "Surgery Cancelled."

His assistant would not give me the date and time of my surgery and I have 3 Days To Go. She completely hung the phone up on me...
