Dr. Douglas Padgett

Dr. Padgett has replaced both of my hips and one knee. He is an exceptional, kind and caring surgeon. He follows up with his patients in the hospital and after surgery. He operated on me when other surgeons would not because of complicated health factors. 5 years out from surgery and he still sends detailed questionnaires to determine how my implants are working. I can't thank him enough.

Dr. Padgett replaced both of my hips, the first one in 2002 when I was 52. We never were able to figure out what happened to my hip at such an early age. I had been in pain for two years and after 9 orthopedic surgeons it was an acupuncturist who recommended Dr. Padgett. He was amazing. Brilliant, compassionate and he listens! We replaced my hip and I never felt I had prosthetic implant. It felt totally normal. I live a very active lifestyle and have had no restrictions. My second hip replacement was also confounding but Dr. Padgett reassured me and made me feel very comfortable in his able hands. My surgery was in 2016 (a year ago) and one again it's totally natural feeling. His staff is supportive and knowledgeable it's been an awesome experience both times. I couldn't recommend his practice more enthusiastically.

Dr. Padgett is an amazing doctor. I am super impressed with his care. Not only is he a great doctor, he is super personable. I have had him do both my knee replacements. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Went to his Long Island Office. The office is just like the New York building. A well oiled machine. Very efficient. Everyone e was so nice. Saw Dr. Padgett and he is so sweet. Explained everything to me and agreed that I can go for cortisone shots in place of total knee replacement. Said just what I wanted to hear. Gentle and compassionate.woulduse him again in a minute. Very impressed. Couldn’t be nicer. Have no qualms about using him when and if I need surgery. Thanks again Dr. Padgett. His p.a. Dorothy also very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with .
