My daughter is a competitive dancer, and she came to Dr. Castro with a tricky foot injury that no one had been able to resolve. Dr. Castro was literally the 5th specialist we visited. She was thoughtful, kind and encouraging, and she was able to develop a treatment plan that actually worked. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Dr. Castro is an amazing person and even better doctor. She is intelligent, concerned and compassionate. Her primary interest is to help her patients get better and is highly skilled at podiatry. My wife and I both see her, and we are extremely happy with her care. She deserves 10 stars, but I could only give 5.

Dr. Castro is an amazing and personable/knowledgeable surgeon. She provides excellent bedside manner and is always available for questions. She performed surgery on me in September of this year and I am nearly at 100%. I would not want any other podiatry surgeon to operate on me. I would recommend her to everyone! She is the BEST!

Dr. Castro is amazing. She is the example of what you look forward to see in a doctor. She is respectful, professional and takes the time to explain your foot issues. I would recommend her to everyone!!!

Dr. Castro was kind and intelligent in helping me figure out what was causing me pain in my ankle/foot. However, after none of her treatment options worked, one of her colleagues suggested that I might have been misdiagnosed based on the location of my pain.
Instead of owning up to her mistake, Dr. Castro insisted that I miscommunicated where my pain was and that I was at fault for this misdiagnosis. Neither of them had any helpful guidance after that, awkwardly suggesting that I go back and do more physical therapy for an injury that has plagued me for two years.
If your problem is straightforward and correctly diagnosed, then perhaps Dr. Castro is the right doctor for you. Unfortunately, she ended up being like most other doctors I have worked with; stubbornly confident that they are right and not willing to explore the possibility that they missed something.
