Dr. Daryl Isaacs

I called Dr Isaacs as I really wasn’t feeling well. He face timed me back to look at me. I am usually the person who will try to sleep it off. He was pretty adamant about going to the ER as there might not be a tomorrow. He diagnosed me over the phone and was spot on after the cat scan. The surgeon here at the hospital said it’s a good thing he picked up on it… Dr isaac if you are reading this Thank you. what do you do for someone who basically saves your life?

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Isaacs since 2005 as our primary physician. Dr. Isaacs is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. He actually listens to your issues, doesn't ignore them or tell you to ignore what you are experiencing, compared to other doctors I've had. He lays out courses of action or treatment that are very clear and thorough. He recommends the best specialists and surgeons. I have not yet had an off or just meh/average experience with him or any of his referrals. We trust him to no end. And yes, if he takes an hour or so to see you, bring a book or something because he's definitely worth the wait. He gives you all of his attention as soon as you enter his office and you never feel rushed. He might be able to save time using dictation apps while updating your med chart (!), but I'd rather watch him manually enter everything we discussed as I do appreciate his keen focus and clear advice.

One of the most genius doctors I’ve ever met can diagnose everything quickly and get you through it fast. If you’re looking for someone who really cares. Dr Issacs is The Best!!!

After reading a few of the reviews I feel obligated to give one. I have been a patient of Dr. Isaacs for 8 years and I have to say I always feel like I am in good hands. He has helped me with a number of allergy and stomach issues on multiple occasions and his dietary restrictions and recommendations always have me feeling better. I can also speak on behalf of Dr. Isaacs and say that he would not knowingly prescribe something to someone with an addiction. I know this to be true because a friend of mine was also a longtime patient of his, and Dr. Isaacs refused him medications after discovering he was showing some signs of addiction. He never wrote my friend a prescription from that day forward. I also love Dr. Isaacs because he is an avid art collector and enthusiast of the arts, as I am a professional artist he always makes time to talk about art and recommends new artists for me to research. Visiting Daryl is always a great delight.

I’ve been with Dr Isaacs for possibly 30 years. I can’t argue with some of the comments that the wait used to be terrible. But even then I always found him to be thorough, caring and most importantly intelligent and methodical. I never had any concerns or questions that he was prescribing something that wasn’t right or that he was not recommending the right specialist. He had joined the NYU practice for a few years, which certainly improved the efficiency of office visits but since he left I have to assume there were reasons it wasn’t working for him. He’s a smart Dr and he listens.
