Dr. kaiser has shown compassion and truly excellent care towards my aunt after her foot surgery. His work is precise and the detailed discharge instructions were perfect for when she transitioned to rehab. If You want a MD who is responsive, human, and caring with keen hands, this is your Man. We are extremely thankful !

I consider Dr. Kaiser not only my doctor but my friend. I have had multiple problems with ulcers on my feet due to scleroderma. For over two years he has treated them all, sometimes they required surgery to heal properly. All in all, the process of healing for me has been a long one due to my condition. He has been patient throughout it all, always takes the time to explain what is going on and answer my questions. Now that my feet are healed I feel as if I am losing a friend. Thank you Dr. Kaiser for your professionalism, patience and friendship.

Dr. Kaiser is a very skilled and dedicated doctor, as well as a very kind person. I was recommended to Dr. Kaiser to treat ulcers on my leg. He showed genuine concern in treating me. When the medication he used weekly was no longer available, he searched for alternatives for me. even giving me his private cell # so that I can learn of the newest developments. I was very pleased with his care, and would definitely recommend him.

We met Dr. Kaiser 7 months ago at NY Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in the emergency room. My husband Reynold who is diabetic and has poor blood circulation in his feet stepped on a screw in our backyard. We went to our regular doctor who took x-rays and blood work. The x-rays showed that the front of his right foot looked okay but the blood work came back with an elevated white blood count. The doctor prescribed 2 types of antibiotics. Unfortunately, within a week his condition became worst. His foot was red, swollen and the top of his foot near his toes was oozing something (gross). Dr. Kaiser saw this, admitted my husband to the hospital and immediately started working on his foot at his hospital bed. The next day he was operated on. It turns out that my husband had a very bad bone infection. Three operations later, IV and oral antibiotics, wound healing preformed by Dr. Kaiser. Dr. Kaiser seeing him two to three times a week along with 30 sessions in the hyperbaric chamber at Maimonides Hospital. My husbands’ foot was saved. Dr. Kaiser has gone beyond the call to duty. He is very honest and explains every step, the good, the bad and the ugly outcomes. Dr. Kaiser was there for my husband and me. I thank the day we met him. Again, without him my husband’s foot who have been amputated.

I was referred to Dr Kaiser by my general podiatrist when the ulcer on my foot wouldn’t heal. I’m a really big guy and it was a tough slog but I’m on the mend and my care is approaching completion. This is bitter sweet for me. I’m more than happy to be done with the medical treatment but I enjoy my visits with Dr. Kaiser. I find his bedside manner a great mix of friendly and professional. I’ll miss that. I saw a review above which claimed he yelled at the nurses and they/other staff are afraid of him. I’ve had pretty frank conversations with the nurses on the floor and in the OR at Methodist, the nurses/staff at Maimonides (where I did wound care) and I‘ve seen him several times at his private office. Nobody I spoke with said (or reacted in a way to suggest) anything like this is true. At the beginning of my treatment, Dr. Kaiser was blunt but honest with me and I’ll forever appreciate this. I was frustrated — I had been good about my diet and sugars, etc. I was disappointed I hadn’t healed like I did when I was young. He explained that I couldn’t expect my body to reverse 30 years of misuse in a few weeks. Instead, he planned out a conservative course of treatment. And because of my complicated home-life he tailored my treatment. Several times he said that a treatment that ignored the patient’s life was bad treatment. That humanity and the simple fact that he made me better makes me comfortable recommending him.
