Dr. Yiachos is very knowledgeable and informative. I have nothing but great things to say about him. I have had over 10 visits and never a negative moment. He didn't overwhelm me with every test imaginable nor load me up with medication hoping it works. Instead he listened, did only what was needed and found a wonderful regime that reminded me what life was like prior to my issues. The staff is also delightful, quick and know exactly what they are doing.. Thanks for almost 2+ years of much needed care.

Like most people I was not happy to have to go to the doctors office.but I must truly say that my experience with doctor yiachos and his staff was very, very good..first his staff was very friendly and flexible...no attitudes..the doctor himself was friendly..he explained what tests we should do ...and why...did not load me up with a bunch of tests I didn't need...as far as the test itself ,a colonoscopy ..wich I was scared to death of...!...was a breeze ..DID NOT FEEL A THING..!...they completely knock you out...a sleep...nothing embarassing ..they cover you up very well before hand....the whole test was over in about an hour and a half.and all results were good..I hope this review helps someone who needs to go...but maybe is afraid..

This is the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to. I have been suffering for months with discomfort and pain, went to see Dr. Yiachos and was given an Endoscopy. After four months of me never receiving a follow up, I called the office to ask them just by chance to review my results. The incompetent front desk lady tells me over the phone that everything was perfect. Then, the very next day I receive a phone call that I have a serious bacteria in my stomach after the “doctor reviewed my paperwork.” Really?? Four months later you tell me this. I am absolutely warning all Staten Islanders to never go to this doctors office again. There are plenty other Gastro’s that will care enough about their patients to call them when they have a serious condition.
