Dr. Chirag Vasa

I would like to invite people looking for a very good Doctor to consider using Dr. Chirag Vasa. I have been with him for at least 8 years and he treats me like a family member. Lol. He is professional courteous and respectful of your privacy and I live in another borough and still travel to his office.

Absolute horror show of a practice. I was sent to see this “doctor” after being diagnosed with an infection by CityMD in Jackson Heights. He ran a filthy, highly unprofessional practice in the basement of a house in Astoria. The receptionist was beyond rude, she was directly defensive and defiant when I asked why certain blood test results weren't ordered as STAT, when not only health requirements, but also state regulations mandate certain tests to be STAT. I am a former phlebotomist. He drew my blood with vacutainer tubes that were being stored with tubes that had already been used for extraction. Then he drew a Lavender top before drawing the Gold/tiger top which is incorrect order of draw(highly important). On top of that, during his consultation, he provided me obscured test results and was completely unable to provide me with the results of a secondary test. On top of that, he attempted to use a wall mounted tablet to “explain” how the infection worked inside my body, but in actuality he fumbled around the menu looking for the explanation that he should already have, provided that he is actually a doctor who knows what he is doing. The nail in the coffin was when he told me that my diet and exercise regimen didn’t make any difference in effectuating change in my body’s immune response. Avoid him at all costs.
