The friendly, professional atmosphere put me immediately at ease as a new patient. Dr. Lewis does a special service of laying out the details of procedures upcoming in a fully informative manner, emphasizing improvements in method of testing. He reduces any anxiety a patient might have in this way. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Lewis as needed on and off for years. He is wonderful. Attentive, great sense of humor, and aware that some topics or physicals may be uncomfortable and as a result gentle. I was referred to him by a few nurses at Mount Sinai....You know a Doctor is really good when the rest of the Medical profession recommends them . Highly recommend!

Lovely staff. Dr. Lewis is my kind of doctor. I wish I could find a PCP as down-to-earth and direct. My only regret is that I forgot to ask the questions I had written down. But really, a good experience for a nervous patient like me.

Dr. Lewis is among the finest, most conscientious physicians I know. I’m certain that he saved my life, easily picking up a red-hot, about-to-explode gallbladder that a reputable NY hospital had missed despite my having been admitted there. Suffice to say he immediately made the correct clinical diagnosis, recognized the urgency, and (same day) obtained for me from a third party the correct diagnostic, a sonogram - which the hospital inexplicably had failed to administer - that confirmed his accurate clinical diagnosis. My inflamed gallbladder promptly was removed, revealing 40 sizable stones. The General Surgeon who removed it took a photo of it because it was the worst he had seen. You can trust Dr.Lewis. His is a good man as well as a doctor’s doctor. I dread the day he retires, though I will wish him all the best when that day comes.
