Really amazing, caring, physician/surgeon. Nice and helpful office staff and great PA's. I had a full avulsion of my proximal hamstring - tendon holding all three muscles pulled off the hip bone and had to be reattached; it's a complex surgery requiring a neurosurgeon to care for the sciatic nerve. I had been told that any dealing with the sciatic nerve might cause a lot of pain/problems and when I asked the Dr. about it prior to surgery, he simply said that he and the neurosurgeon he works with are very gentle and careful - indeed they are... I healed well and so quickly with little problems and very little discomfort. As an RN, I know that a surgeon's patients heal much more quickly with fewer complications when the surgeon is gentle.

I could not have trusted a better surgeon to take care of my hip problem. I had a labrum tear and severe swelling in my hip. I was in pain for 2 years and was not able to walk without excruciating pain for about the last 4 months before my surgery. After seeing 4 doctors, and a chiropractor that couldn't tell me what was wrong with my hip I finally came across Dr. Nwachukwu who explained in detail to me what the issue was right away. He even squeezed me in on very short notice so that I could have my surgery before moving to another state! He answered all my questions patiently and with great technical detail and assured me to calm my nerves before the operation. His professionalism and bedside manner are state of the art. Even though I've had no prior surgeries, I was not worried and actually felt confident in Dr. Nwachukwu skills. I am finally walking without pain and assistance after TWO YEARS. I can't even tell you how many times I've cried wondering when I would be able to walk and exercise again without pain. Now 3 months post operation, I am still going to physical therapy to strengthen my hip but it has all been worth it. My only wish was that I found him sooner. THANK YOU Dr. Nwanchukwu!

I had dealt with hip pain, incorrect diagnoses, and countless rounds of PT for almost 10 years, so when I stumbled upon an article written by Dr. Nwachukwu I decided I had to make an appointment to meet with him. Within 3 minutes of meeting him, he had given me an answer I had been searching for for 10 years. Dr. Nwachukwu was so knowledgeable about my condition and I felt so relieved to have found him. I went ahead with two back to back hip arthroscopies 5 weeks apart, and now at 6 and 7 months post-op I have just completed my first 5 mile run in almost a year at one of my fastest times. In addition to being an amazing surgeon, Dr. Nwachukwu truly cares about his patients and their needs. Any time I had a question or a concern he got back to me immediately with an answer. His PA Erin is also amazing!! I am so grateful for this experience and I would recommend Dr. Nwachukwu 100 times over!!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Before I was aware of the surgeon who'd be repairing my achilles, I got a phone call from Dr. Nwachukwu on a Saturday afternoon, the day after my MRI. Who does that? This guy. He introduced himself and explained the whole process I was about to go to in detail. I get to the hospital, meet him and he reassures me of what the procedure is and what he expects to do and what I should expect. The surgery was a success. After surgery he speaks to my wife reassuring her it all went well. The followups have been great, and I'm still on pace to heal and get back out exercising in due time. Dr. Nwachukwu is a fabulous surgeon. I can't thank him enough, and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Ben and his entire team are attentive, responsive, and just simply amazing. As you enter the facility you’re greeted with warmth and respect. I also rehabbed at the facility as well and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
