My visit with doctor rice was very excellent she’s very thorough. She answered all of my questions, she didn’t rush through my visit and referred me when I explained a separate issue I was having. She’s great.

I have never had such a bad experience with a physician's office. I went to Laurie Rice because I needed forms filled out for a volunteering opportunity with my vaccination records and general physical measurements. Dr. Rice did not properly read my form, nor the example form I gave her, and ordered a bunch of extraneous bloodwork. I am now being held responsible for paying for this bloodwork that I did not actually consent to. She also filled out the form extremely wrong and I had delayed onboarding because of her carelessness. Lastly, she billed me for a full office visit when I came in to get a vaccine, even though she was running extremely late and I had to leave right as she was coming in. Avoid at all costs!

I saw Dr. Rice for my annual physical. During it she asked if anything else was bothering me so I explained an issue I was having, to which she referred me to a specialist (which cost me thousands for a consultation). Dr. Rice didn't even exam the issue but charged me for a completely separate visit in addition to my physical for asking a question. Was charged an additional $800+.

Every single time I come in with an appointment or as a walk in, even if it’s the first appointment of the day, the wait time is between 1-2 hours to be seen and then the doctor spends maybe 10 minutes with me. It is very frustrating to have to wait over an hour every single time for a scheduled appointment time. The front desk staff is rude and don’t care at all. They seem annoyed when you ask how much longer the wait is and don’t seem to understand that people have limited time to wait. I cannot realistically leave my job for 3-4 hours every time I have a simple checkup. I’m changing doctors because I just don’t have hours to sit around and wait every time I need to be seen. They also force you to schedule appointments for things that could easily be done remotely such as refilling a prescription that hasn’t changed in years. This is just not an office that cares about their patient experience at all. The weird thing is that there aren’t even more than 2-3 people waiting to be seen so I don’t understand what takes so long. It also takes up to two days before you get a response to book an appointment at all. Unless you have oodles of free time that you want to waste sitting around, I’d recommend you go somewhere that actually cares.

This doctor did not seem interested in helping me at all as a patient- it was like pulling teeth trying to get sufficient answers for my health questions and concerns. She did not seem to care about my wellbeing at all, and compassion/caring is number 1 in a good doctor. I would not recommend her.
