Dr Panagos is very understanding and supportive. He provided guidance during the course of my recovery, that allowed me to improve my spine condition without the need of any kind of invasive procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Panagos.

Dr. Panagos has been helping me deal with back pain resulting from scoliosis since March 2009. When I first went to see him I could barely walk one city block (a twentieth of a mile) without sharp pain. It got so bad that at one point I seriously investigated the possibility of buying a mobility scooter in order to get around. In early 2011, I sought out the opinions of three prominent Manhattan spine surgeons. The immense disparity in their proposals (ranging from minimally invasive procedures to full spinal reconstruction) left me confused. Meanwhile Dr. Panagos had been giving me nonsurgical treatment in the form of epidural injections, which eased my pain and began to increase the distance I could walk. I showed him the three surgeons’ disparate opinions and asked for his guidance. He said he thought my progress without surgery had been steady and that I should consider avoiding surgery as long as my back continued to improve. I am glad I followed that advice. About a year and a half ago (well after the brief course of epidural injections had ceased) I reached the point where I could walk a mile or two with only mild discomfort. This has not been a “medical miracle”—my back is still weak and my walking range is not unlimited—but I nonetheless count the progress I have made a great success, and I attribute it to Dr. Panagos’s treatment.

Dr Andre Panagos, is a compassionate, friendly and openminded Dr and work diligentlyy to resolve the pain and suffering for his patients. Also i would like to mention how much i deeply appreciate Dr Panagos and his remarkable staff. Dr Panagos listens carefrully to what you say and he is quite generous with his time. He always greets you with a big smile and a strong hand shake. When i first visited Dr Panagos office i was in excruciating back and neck pain. After listening to my concenrs and doing his examination. Dr Panagos recommended a series of treatment that would help reduce my pain and allow me to better founction in my day to day activties. I couldn't be more happier to hear those encouraging words. It was a very challenging process but i am please to say the results were remarkable. Just as Dr Panagos promised, that i will again be able to practice martial arts and i am now able to resume to some basic training and i feel much better over all. I thank God for my amazing wife for leading me to this great man, who happen to be an exceptional Dr. That is why i have no hesitation in recommended my family and friends to Dr Panagos.

Dr. Panagos treated me 4 years ago. He listened to my symptons and agreed to my request for an MRI. He then provided me the tools to change my life. To his surprise, I read the Paleo Diet book, I changed my desk and job to help ensure better hours, less sitting, etc. Sadly 4 years later, I'm again trying to deal with a degenerative disk and I'm back in his care. Once he again, he provided a new book on nutrition, a new recommendation for a standing desk at home, and physical therapy. It takes time and patience to work with doctors and patience. He's one of the hidden gems who still takes insurance from my company. All I can say is he's great, knowledgeable, and guiding through what is a very frustrating problem. He'll offer solutions, but let you chose the one right for you. Thank you again Dr. Panagos.. always a pleasure to see you.
