Sarah made me feel so comfortable during my first hearing test in more than 5-10 years (can't remember exactly). She took her time and explained the results so thoroughly. She even took the time to explain the graph findings when I asked. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone who wants to check their hearing. The check in was quick and painless too!

Dr. Hoffman was welcoming, knowledgeable and very nice. The office was clean and comfortable. The office staff was professional and helpful. It's a great combination for a potentially sensitive visit.

I have high frequency loss and tinnitus and use the Oticon hearing aid. It was recommended by Alison Hoffman, AuD., CC-A, Doctor of Audiology at the Advanced Hearing Center located on the upper east side of NYC. She is knowledgeable, professional and pleasant, conducting tests of your hearing and developing personal hearing profiles which are stored in your device as well as on her computer. You can have up to four, allowing you to selection for general use, restaurants, lectures and live music. I have found that the hearing aid is the only thing I've found which helps with tinnitus. But what I recently appreciated was the value of support when there are issues. One of my aids' batteries was losing charge after 12 hours and the battery needed replacement, and done within the warranty. But in addition to getting the repair done, I was given a loaner set until mine were returned from the factory. This was actually a surprise, and a pleasant one. My profiles were loaded within seconds and I walked out enjoying uninterrupted service. I would highly recommend visiting her office before purchasing anything online or from a TV commercial.

Dr. Hoffmann is a wonderful doctor. I wore hearing aids for 4 years unsuccessfully. She fitted me with the right hearing aids and it’s been great!
