If you ask for a prescription, you must bring an empty bottle to the office, but this is the first doctor to use it. This is a doctor who is angry that the pharmacist called and asked for something, and even curses in front of the patient. Even if you explain that you are not home because you are away, don't go back to the doctor asking you to go home and bring an empty bottle. Just ask him to prescribe the medicine, and the doctor himself takes care of it. Beware of the office that is suddenly called a doctor. This doctor is very arrogant, unprofessional, and condescending. He will not give you refills unless you bring back the old bottle (no exceptions). If you ask him to write a prescription for an OTC medication so you can get it with your insurance he will not do so saying he is he dr and will care for your meds. You don’t know anything so you shouldn’t ask him to write an Rx. My pharmacist asked for a refill on my meds, I had a recent appointment so it wasn’t like I was asking th dr for a big favor. He had yelled at the pharmacist saying that he shouldn’t tell the dr what to do. I saw him for an appointment and he got very angry about the pharmacist and even used profanity during that process. Then he goes on complaining how his day was ruined by this incident to me, the patient. He is just hungry for money, wants you to come back with empty bottles for prescriptions (he’ll get another payment from the insurance for that visit). I would have given negative stars if I could. Avoid at all costs!
