I have been a patient of Dr. Giovinazzo for at least 14 years. She is the absolute best! She has helped me through many medical situations and delivered all three of my children. She is kind, empathetic, funny, and just an all around amazing person and doctor. There's no other doctor that I would have trusted to deliver my babies. Amijet, Colleen, and the rest of her staff are amazing as well! Amijet truly cares about all of the patients and goes above and beyond to help you in anyway she can.

I’m a first time patient and everyone was very nice and welcoming. Plus the office and exam rooms are very clean. I thought I was seeing Dr.G but saw Amijet. And I didn’t find out until I scheduled my next visit. Amijet was very nice, knowledgeable, and listened to my babbling and concerns. I have a lot going on and most doctors just brush me off and dismiss my issues, but Amijet didn’t. Plus she actually explained things to me in detail, which I find most doctors seem to skip right over. I also Didn’t have a problem with my appointment time (20 minutes overdue but that’s typical at any doctors office. People need to keep in mind that consults and exams can take longer than planned depending on what’s discussed in the exam room!)

It’s a really beautiful clean office, big parking lot & I never had any issues with appointments or payments. I never had to wait too long either. Staff was always very nice, especially the front desk people. However, Alecia didn’t really want to listen to my issues & cut me off when I’d try to explain. Definitely rushed me out with no diagnosis, just another doc to throws pills at it & is very misinformed about VERY COMMON diseases that are listed on her own website. they also specialize in birth/pregnancy & I do not recommend them for anything other than that. They are also fine for your basic needs (paps, testing, ultrasounds but even that I had to take to a different doctor) I got diagnosed with something yesterday, a very common disease that they have listed on their website, from an amazing doctor in manhattan who was BAFFLED that this place couldn’t diagnose me. She took one look at my paperwork, bloodwork & ultrasound & couldn’t believe this place didn’t give an answer. Alecia’s place didn’t even have a doctor call me about the blood work, it was someone I never spoke to or seen & she said my blood work was perfect (it wasn’t and I knew that looking at it myself lol) she then proceeded to try to prescribe me a medication for what I tested for. Makes zero sense. Basically if you have suspected PCOS, endometriosis, hormonal issues, painful periods, ovarian cysts, fibroids or any of these sort of more “complex” issues.. find another doctor. I’m writing this to save some people time that I wish I hadn’t wasted.

Regret! Don’t judge a book by its cover. The office setting is great, ample parking, good ambiance in the office. But that was overshadowed by the inconsistent care we received. We never felt we were treated with the same care lot of the other patients received, not sure if it’s because we are a minority. It was a hit or miss each visit. The day of delivery my wife was in extreme pain but the doctor was no where to be found we had to scream out in the hall way for help, the nurse who was attending kept telling us for an hour “doctor is here and will be in here soon”. one of the residents finally ran in to help us. It seemed resident was puzzled that doctor was not in yet. After 30 mins of screams she finally walks in nonchalantly asking how we are doing? Seriously? Never again.

I thought I was making an appointment to see a Dr. Giovinazzo, but after waiting almost an hour in the waiting room I was led to the room to be examined by a PA. I refused and left. They should have told me when I called the office that PA will be seeing me. I understand that they don't want to loose business and and want to fill their schedule to the maximum, but it is is not nice that she tries to manipulate people this way.
