The doctor was amazing but I wrongfully billed an extra $360 for a preventive colonoscopy. It is IMPOSSIBLE to contact the doctor's office. I spoke to the billing department at Mount Sinai and they said it is up to the doctor's office to resubmit my bill to the insurance company. The issue? The bill was submitted as diagnostic and not preventative. Colonoscopies are supposed to be covered by insurance by Federal Law. I really do like the doctor but I feel that they only way I get the doctor's office attention to my billing issue to leave a bad review on Google. I hope someone takes steps to correct this issue STAT. No one should be wrongfully charged for something that is covered by their insurance!!!
