Excellent doctor. I had sleep issues for so long due to a deviated septum. Dr Shin recommended a non surgical procedure and after it was completed, I honestly have the best sleep I ever had. My snoring is significantly reduced. The staff who work here are all very friendly and there was almost never a wait time for any of my appointments. Dr Shin is also very kind and is one of those docs that actually remember what you told them about your life. Highly recommend him if you have any sinus issues!

This review is written for Dr Edward Shin at Suite 608. When I was pre-diagnosed with lymphoma, I was referred to see Dr Shin for a biopsy. Knowing the metastatic nature of the disease, the staff offered an immediate appointment so I can have my cells examined as soon as possible. The biopsy was conducted by Dr Shin himself and it was quick and painless. Dr Shin was very good because he was gentle and knowledgeable. In addition, I was well informed of the procedure before, during and after. During the time of visit, I had no medical insurance. The biopsy, diagnosis along with consultation fee was not cheap but Dr Shin gave me a price reduction for paying in cash. He also suggested some support services and insurance plans that works with the majority of cancer treatment centers/hospitals (in case the diagnosis turns out positive). I was dreadful before the biopsy. I had tons of questions and he provided helpful answers to the questions I had. Dr Shin listened and relieved my concerns. His consolation, advice and recommendations made me feel better despite the lymphoma scare. Although the diagnosis was confirmed negative, I feel secured and well taken care by the doctor and his crew. Dr Shin deserves my 5-stars for being the best Asian otolaryngologist!

Dr. Shin was excellent from diagnosis to aftercare of my surgery. I have suffered from severe sinusitis and overall discomfort for years and Dr. Shin helped me so much. I was placed on a round of antibiotics and several nasal sprays to help alleviate the discomfort. This was to try everything possible before scheduling surgery. Surgery was eventually scheduled and was done quickly. Aftercare followed for several months and at the end I was left very satisfied! thank you

I recently had nasal surgery and was lucky enough to find Dr. Shin through New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. I could not have made a better decision. I went to Dr. Shin due to the fact that I had trouble breathing was constantly congested and my snoring was getting worse. After examining me thoroughly and doing all the appropriate tests Dr. Shin thought I would be a good candidate for Balloon sinuplasty. I had never heard of this procedure but Dr. Shin assured me that he had a very high success rate with his patients. Including breathing easier and catching fewer colds. Dr. Shin has a great bedside manner. He walked me through the entire process. He answered all of my questions and was able put my mind at ease regarding any concerns that I had. The operation was a complete success. My breathing pre/post surgery is like night and day. The surgery healed very quickly and I am told my breathing will continue to improve. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Shin. He is an excellent Doctor.
