Receptionists often overbook patients with no room at all for walk in visits. Appointments are often filled until the following week. Appointment times are often not kept, you can expect to wait at least one hour after your appointment time to see the Dr. The Dr is very friendly and knowledgeable and so is the nurse inside. The only problem is the front desk who can be rude and condescending to patients, a stress they bring unto themselves for overbooking.

They always overbook so you end up waiting 1 to 2 hours on average to see Dr. Lam even with appointments. Called to see if I could come in in the afternoon because of sudden pain. The front desk said doc can't see me because there are at least 5 patients and it 3:30 already. The soonest they can see me was in two days. Told me condescendingly to go to urgent care or ER if pain is extreme/persist. Just because they overbook and over run with schedule, staffs turned a patient with urgent matter away so that they don't have to stay behind and work overtime. I check myself into urgent care and the wait time was so much shorter. With this kind of attitude, who needs a primary physician. You can't get a soon-enough appointment with Dr. Lam for urgent matter. Just go to urgent care. You will save yourself so much time and hassle dealing with the unprofessional lazy front desk.
